About the Creator

Founder and creator James Yerondais is passionate about activating children to learn using different methods and points of inspiration. From working as a private school teacher at Mentone Grammer for 5 years, he understands that not all children learn using the same techniques; some will be able to plan and execute methods, where others will need to create and build solutions as they go. Even though he believes that all kids learn differently, there is one common factor to educating kids that engages them the most;

                "To truly engage the children you really need to inspire them at their most active and  motivational place, and that is play"

 

About the Program

Build it 4 kids cleverly uses the task of 'play' to disguise and intergrate educational techniques set by the Australian Curriculum of algebra, measurement and mental arithmetics, as well as speaking and listening skills, problem solving, comprehension and engineering of simple machinery.

The programs have been designed to educate students individually and within a group setting, creating fun games, activities and puzzles that stimulate thinking, whilst 'sneaking in' simple educational processes and theories. James provides a safe, comfortable and inclusive environment allowing children to embrace their inner confidence to share, support and celebrate each other and their individual and collaborative ideas.

Having now executed the program for over a 10 year period, he loves watching his students grow in their ability and confidence, to achieve great accomplishments by simply thinking outside of the box and putting bricks together in a fun and constructive way.
