Holiday Workshops!

 

On the school holidays we offer our 'Master Builder' workshop for kids of all ages. It’s during this workshop, that we encourage the kids to design and construct themed creations without instructions and only using their imaginations.

The 'Master Builder' themes purposely change with every workshop allowing a new and unique challenge every time your child attends. We stick to broad topics like automobiles, animals and building structures, that allow the space for your child’s imagination to build something as traditional or abstract as they please.

This holiday program has been designed to champion imagination, creativity and confidence. We understand that there is no one way to design anything, so we love to encourage the children to push the boundaries of their imagination to create something new and dynamic.

During the workshop, children are prompted to think about the design features of their creation and ways that they could enhance their creations function.  At the end of each class all the children are supported to discuss their creations to the group before they are tested in a series of design challenges, that test their practicality, durability, and efficiency before being dismantled at the end of the day.

Running the 'Master Builder' workshop is always a highlight for the Build It 4 Kids team, as they love witnessing the kids come back year after year, growing in their skills, imagination, and confidence. It is truly such a rewarding program.
